NASCAR Facts

Did you know...
...NASCAR stock car racing had its roots in bootlegging during Prohibition in the 1920s and 1930s? Bootleggers needed fast cars and skilled drivers to "run moonshine" and evade police. They often modified their cars for even better performance. When Prohibition was repealed some of these drivers, hooked on fast cars and the thrill of the race, continued to tinker with their cars and soon began racing each other in organized exhibitions.

NASCAR Tickets - Indianapolis IN

NASCAR races will be held on July 25, 2010 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis, Indiana. Don't miss your favorite NASCAR drivers in Indianapolis, get your tickets early and we'll see you there!

As we all know, the best NASCAR seats in Indianapolis will sell out fast. You can always get great NASCAR tickets from ticket holders and ticket brokers who are selling them right here on this site. Prices and seat quality vary so consider the following when buying your NASCAR tickets:

  1. The closer you get to the date of the event the demand for that NASCAR ticket will be higher, and it's likely that the price will be higher as well.
  2. If you want to avoid paying more than you have to for your NASCAR tickets make your purchases as early as possible. If you wait until the last minute you could pay $20-$30 above face-value, sometimes even as much as $100 above face-value, for the best tickets, depending on the demand for that seat and that event.
  3. Where to sit? If you like to see all the action on the entire track and pit road, consider sitting higher up on the front stretch, it will give you a great bird's-eye-view. If you like to be closer to the cars and track and literally feel the excitement, consider sitting lower (be aware that sitting too low sometimes makes it more difficult to see the whole track).
  4. NASCAR is more than just the race itself. Think about arriving early in order to rent a scanner (so you can hear the drivers talking to their crew chiefs), check out the pit and garage areas, meet some drivers, and purchase your favorite driver's souvenirs.
  5. Qualifying and practice sessions are open to the public with an event ticket.
  6. If you have NASCAR tickets that you can't use you can sell them right here on GetSeats.com.
